“We use technology to unify people. Today, our ecosystem is vast and can meet various needs beyond corporate travel, like offshore work, where we support the transportation of crews scheduled to stay on oil platforms for at least 30 days,” says Edmar Mendoza, director of Copastur Viagens e Turismo.
Copastur ensures a win-win for travelers (and their companies) and suppliers. It raises the demand for its partner hotels by helping them attract clients while simplifying the latter’s reservation, accommodation, and payment processes. Essentially, Copastur aids clients with everything, from planning, organizing, and executing a trip to undertaking intelligent expense management and handling logistics outsourcing.
An innovative, agile, resilient, and highly adaptable nature is Copastur’s signature. These values contribute to efficiently translating complex client needs to hotels and accomplishing them. Its adaptability is also visible in constantly accommodating changing hotel strategies. An excellent example of this is the unmatched flexibility of its tools, which allow seamless integration with existing online booking, hotel sourcing, or expense management tools. Adding to these values is Copastur’s principle of co-creation and an understanding that people are the fundamental resource at the center of its ecosystem. Its people-centric attitude is evident in its successful partnership with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The Church collaborated with Copastur before the onset of COVID-19. At the time, there were 3,200 foreign missionaries in Brazil on 35 missions and more than 4,000 Brazilians on missions worldwide. Although Copastur was meant to take everyone safely to their country of origin, things took a turn as the pandemic commenced. Working through border closures and flight cancelations, it initially tried to find solutions in the consulates for humanitarian flights. Once it realized these efforts were in vain, Copastur decided to charter flights and conducted an intense and fast negotiation between the Church, the airline, Infraero, the Federal Government, and American authorities.
Subsequently, the team was divided into six flights, and in two days, another 1,800 missionaries embarked for Salt Lake City, Utah, where most of them were concentrated. The success of this mission belongs to the performance and determination of the entire Copastur team, which continued seeking solutions and alternatives amid uncertainties, regardless of position or hierarchy.
We use technology to unify people. Today, our ecosystem is vast and can meet various needs beyond corporate travel, like offshore work, where we support the transportation of crews scheduled to stay on oil platforms for at least 30 days
Combining the perks of these accreditations with its flexible travel management solutions, Copastur is poised to continue revolutionizing the domain.
